Getting Started

From the day you become a family to build for, we will lead you by the hand through these 7 steps.

STEP 1 - We Follow Your Dream

First, we'll listen. To build a home that works for you, we'll survey your needs, wants, and vision. Our compass will be your tastes and preferences in the framework of your budget.

STEP 2 - We Learn About You and Your Family

Using a unique Ethos emphasis, we invite you to observe your family's daily routines; brainstorming and recording your families customs and practices specific to your way of life. Your floor plan will rise from this real life reflection and result in an Ethos Custom Home that will fit your lifestyle like a glove.

STEP 3 - Architect or Designer Selection

When designing your floorplan, we may start with a plan that you like or we can begin completely from scratch. We'll meet, dialogue, review, refine, revise, etc... Very soon, you'll have your final design, ready for technicals and construction to begin!

STEP 4 - You Select The Details

With our interior designer as your personal resource, you'll select flooring materials, design details, and all of the interior finishes that make sense for you and your budget.

Have an existing relationship with an interior designer? We're happy to assist and coordinate with your trusted advisor. To spare you the costs so common in custom building, we'll make sure that every detail is accounted for and every decision is made before framing begins.

STEP 5 - We Execute The Plan

By this stage, your work in collaboration is complete. You can relax while we manage the numerous steps to requisite permits and the many inspections along the way. Our passion for customer service in the detail we provide, and the systematic and sequential Ethos approach we engage in, provides you with the assurance of a smooth journey home.

Of course, we'll keep you in the loop at every stage. You can visit the building site as often as you like, or delegate the entire process to us with total peace of mind. If you wish not to attend, or perhaps cannot attend for some reason, we would be happy to oblige with email photos of your home in progress.

Your dedicated Ethos Custom Home Superintendent directs your entire story. We gladly accept responsibility for perfecting the detail of your Ethos Custom Home.

STEP 6 - Live In, Love In, and Celebrate Your ETHOS CUSTOM HOME

When your home is ready, you'll be given a formal orientation to the variety of functions germane to your Ethos Custom Home. We'll even bring a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine so that your story of pleasurable living and pride of ownership can truly begin!

Our entire team shares a passion for client satisfaction. So, as the future u
nfolds, whether it's a matter of working through any immediate post constrution punch list items, support with warranty items, or are simply in need of advice on topics involving your home, we remain faithfully available with an appropriate response to the needs presented.
